Slet for Foster

Slet for Foster, a synchronised exercise event took place in the grounds of Norman Foster's Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts last weekend. The choreography for the slet, inspired by out-of-print exercise books and archive Sokol footage, was developed in collaboration with Felicity Croydon. Thank you to everyone who turned up to exercise and support the project. Video footage of the slet (Czech for 'a flocking of birds') will be part of an exhibition at the Link gallery from 23 September. I am planning to hold the next slet on the beach in Cromer in front of a 1930s beach structure designed by architects Buckingham and Berry later in the summer. I'll post the details when everything is confirmed.
